To help the insurance agency of her uncle John Graves (Robert McWade)Jane Martin (Claire Trevor)allows her diamond to serve as loot to gain entry into a gang of diamond thieves operated by Frank Peyton (Cesar Romero). Police detective Walsh (Lloyd Nolan) is on hand to help her if the undercover work gets too hot...and it does.
