May 1945. Europe celebrates the end of a terrible war. The three Soviet soldiers, who have had blood, pain and loss behind them, repeat like a spell: "From now on, everything will be different." And as a proof of new hope and freedom, they leave arbitrarily to Paris. They just can't go home without seeing Mona Lisa. The brave tanker Voronin, Captain Sterznev and senior Lieutenant Bakradze set out on a captured Mercedes and meet happy and frightening events: they are attacked with a machine gun, an American officer invites them to whiskey, enthusiastic prostitutes hold a party and the next fate of the winners is at stake. Will our heroes be able to reach the Louvre? Will they fulfill their dreams, which led them along the path of war and gave them the strength to fight?
